I would like to welcome you to the Mt. Baker Chapter Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.).
Please take a few minutes to check out our rides & events page to see what we have planned for the coming year and the photo galleries to see what the chapter has done in the past year. There are lunch and dinner rides, all day rides, and long distance multiple day rides - something for everyone and every level of riding and these activities provide perfect opportunities to get to know your fellow members/riders. Also, be sure to study the section on safety which includes useful information on group riding with the chapter.
The chapter began in 1991 and we are sponsored by Harley-Davidson Bellingham. We believe in the H-D motto: "It's all about the experience." We come from all walks of life, young and older, men and women, single, married, retired, and college age. We are business owners, artist, managers, educators, domestic engineers, administrators, lawyers, students, military, refinery workers, bankers, mechanics, secretaries, executives, retired and ready for a new adventure--the list is endless, but owning a Harley is what brings us together. A 2007 survey of our chapter found that most members like the feeling that we are a "family" of friends and riders.
We have a monthly general meeting with brief officer reports, safety information, and focus on riders' stories, dealer information, and upcoming events and rides. Please join us at one of our Chapter meetings, held on the third Thursday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm, at the Bellingham Country Club, Bellingham, WA. When you come in ask for Rita Bode, our membership officer, Ken Thompson our official Mr. Meet and Greet, or me, and we'll see that you get oriented to the group. If you aren't already one of us, I am sure that you will want to become a chapter member and join the H.O.G. family (you can click on the "Join Us" page on the website to print out an application).
Please call me (360-380-4590) or email me at: synergylw@comcast.net if you have any questions about our HOG chapter.
